Caution; Photo Heavy Post.
Last night was the Relay for Life in our area. This is the second year that Peanut has Captained a team. I was so incredible proud of these girls that put together a team, raised funds, and planned a night for doing the right thing.
I had not made plans to stay. I was very happy I did. We had a great time visiting with people, participating in the ceremony and caught a few moments that while not captured on film they will be forever captured in my heart.
My Father in Law died of cancer 26 years ago. He was a man I never had the pleasure to meet. I think I would have liked him. My children have also never met him. But he was in their hearts this weekend.
I also had the opportunity to remember my father. He was a great man who I learned more about in death than in life. I can’t believe that it’s almost 5 years since he left us. He is greatly missed by many. Dad. This ones for you.
I’m still sitting here thinking so many powerful emotions. Thinking about the moments last night that made us stop to think, laugh, love, and mourn. There is nothing that I can say that the pictures can’t. Please click on each of the below pictures to make them bigger.

Great pictures.
i know that their grandpa would have loved them dearly. He always treated Ericka with grace, and she was born only 2 wks before he died.
I remember a lot about your Dad, and he was funny and always ready to give up his time to help people.
Theses are great pictures, and now that the girls are growing up fast , it is amazing what they remember and what their creative minds find in lost pictures. I can hardly distinguish which of the twins is which?? They have grown so much since our trip. Hope to get the $$$$ to make that trip again.
This week it was save the dog week. Goldie got pyo in her uterus and we almost lost her, but nursing and God’s love and Mommy’s tricks saved her. We didn’t have the $$ to get her fixed, so it was all in HIS HANDS.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LATE AS USUAL.
LOVE TO ALL OF YOU,
DIANE,JON AND BRIAN
